But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months (Revelation 11:1, 2). The Temple John was told to measure was not a Temple in heaven, but a future Temple that will be erected in Jerusalem during the first 42 months or the first part of the Tribulation. The only place the Jews would construct a Temple would be on the site of the previous two Temples, the Temple Mountain in Jerusalem. Islam will not permit a Jewish house of worship without a war.
