this "man of sin and son of perdition" will be unleashed upon the nations. His main assignment will be to free the Temple Mount from the hands of the infidel Jews. After his invasion, the holy city (Jerusalem) will be trodden down by the Antichrist armies for 42 months. And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? (Revelation 13:4). Why would so many people desire to worship a man? Today, there are imams, Hindu holy men and gurus that are literally worshiped as though they are gods. One such Islamic man is from France and 20 million of his Shiite followers claim he is the incarnation of God. The fact that the Antichrist will be a military warrior and none will be able to make war with him will cause his followers to treat him as a god. T HE P ROPHECY :
