that in the last days God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28–29). This ancient prophecy was repeated by the apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out in Jerusalem. Based upon Acts 2:17–18, we see four important facts of God’s end-time army: 1. The army consists of sons and daughters (v. 17). 2. The end-time army consists of servants and handmaidens (v. 18). 3. The end-time army consists of dreamers and visionaries (v. 17). 4. The end-time army consists of prophetic ministry (v. 17). This army has both young and old in its ranks. The older, mature generation has the wisdom from fighting previous battles, but the youth have the strength to fight present battles. Wisdom must be mixed with zeal, otherwise you will have needless casualties of war from fighting undefended without the weapons or the knowledge. The sons and daughters living today are marked as the final end-time soldiers. The coming end-time army will be servants and handmaidens —those willing to serve in any part of the world and volunteer to minister to those from third-world poverty-infested nations. This end-time army will experience supernatural dreams and visions, which will provide them with warnings and direction to engage in conflicts and return with the spoils of war—souls
