THE BEAST IS THE COMING ANTICHRIST

B. The antichrist according to John

1. The antichrist is a spirit that was working in the time of John 2. The antichrist is a spirit that denies the relationship of the Father and the Son 3. The antichrist is a person who will arise at the end of days

C. The a ntichrist is a man called “he and him.”

1. “The man of sin the son of perdition…” (2 Thess. 2:3 ) 2. “He as God sitteth in the Temple of God showing himself that he is God (2 Thess. 2:4) 3. “He might be revealed in his time…” (2 Thess. 2:6) 4. “And the dragon gave him his power and his seat…” (Rev. 13: 2) 5. “And the dragon gave him his seat and there w as given to him a mouth …” (Rev. 13:2 and 5) 6. “And it was given to him to make war…” (Rev. 13:7)

D. The a ntichrist is called a “wild beast” and is a “beast” in Daniel

E. The symbolism continues as he is the little horn (Dan. 7:7-8)
