THE APOCALYPSE AND THE TEMPLE CODE

AFTER THE JUDGMENT, THE EARTH AND HEAVEN ARE RENOVATED BY FIRE

A. Peter wrote about this

Main verse : 2 Peter 3:12-13

1. At the Great White Throne judgment all humanity will be in heaven (no one on the earth) 2. During this judgment it may take many years to complete 3. This is when the heaven and earth will be purged with fire 4. Matt. 24:35 and Eccl. 1:4 – the heaven and earth will pass

B. The heaven and earth will be renovated

1. Not the heavens (plural) as this would be the entire galaxy of the cosmos (it is heaven, singular) 2. The heaven in this case would be the atmospheric heaven above the earth itself 3. Satan is the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2)

Note: This fiery destruction will fulfill Adam’s prophecy (once by water or fire)

“They also were the inventors of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the heavenly bodies and their order. And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, upon Adam’s prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire and another time by the violence and quantity of water, they made two pillars; the one of brick, and the other of stone: they inscribed their discoveries on them both, that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit those discoveries to mankind; and also inform them that there was another pillar of brick erected by them. Now this remains in the land of Siriad to this day.” - Josephus; Antiquities of the Jews, Chapter II, part 3

C. This completes the cycle of God (From Paradise back to Paradise)

1. In the beginning at creation the earth was in water (Gen. 1:2) 2. In Noah ’s flood the waters covered the earth (Gen 6-7) 3. The third time the earth will be made new after purging by fire (2 Pet. 3:12-13) Note: Only fire can purify disease, corruption, the atmosphere, etc. Note: There was no more sea (waters evaporated). River of Life is the real river. Note: The atmospheric heavens will dissolve – as this was the ruling region of Satan
