straight. God never gets bored, and nothing is ever too small a detail for His undivided attention!. All of nature and creation teaches us of our Lord's great interest in detail. When you stop to look at the incredibly fine detail in just a blade of grass, you can see how details don't bother the Lord. He's not like most human beings who get tired and become impatient with a multitude of details. As you go about your daily housework, He's not bored with that. This is amazing to me. I asked Jesus one time, "Didn't You get bored while You were here on earth? Here You were, the God of the universe, stuck in a carpenter's shop making things by hand, when all You had to do was speak a word and it would have been instantly created." His answer was, "Why should I be bored? I have never been bored while I was creating anything. In fact, I have never been bored." We fail to see the creative aspects of our everyday lives. Housewives especially do not realize this. While you are doing housework you are being creative. You are creating a home and an atmosphere where you can raise servants for The King and in which you can build up your husband so that he can be a better servant for The King. This is impor tant to the Lord. No matter how unimportant our tasks may seem, they can be done in such a manner as to bring glory to our King. There is another area often overlooked by God's people. Because of a recent physical illness, my brain just doesn't function as well as it used to. I have great difficulty remem bering things. I'm almost always in a hurry and always tired and always have much more to do than I can get done. So, I have learned to rely more and more on the Holy Spirit. Throughout the day as I see things that I need to remember later, I simply ask the Holy Spirit to bring them back to my memory. He so graciously does so every time. Now, when I forget something, it is my own fault because I did not ask the Lord to help me rememher.
