Prepare-for-War

He made a remarkable statement to me. He told me, "Don't make the mistake of thinking that I have the same weak emotions as you humans have. I have no weaknesses, and neither do I have the emotions you humans are so fond of attributing to me. You need to take heed of my words in Isaiah:" "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, Isaiah 55:8,9. The Lord went on to tell me, "You are always so concerned about feelings. You hesitate to share my word because of your fear of offending someone. I tell you in truth, it will not matter to me how many tears are shed or how much an guished pleading for mercy occurs, not one single person shall enter heaven except through my son Jesus/ You humans seek to keep peace amongst yourselves while my Son declared:" so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daugh ter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." Matthew 10:34-36.

Father went on to explain to me that because we are created in His image we are capable of having the wide range of emotions we experience. However, He never intended us to feel anything except love for Himself (and therefore, others) and joy at being in His presence. All the rest of our emotions have been brought about because of our fall into sin, and thus are contaminated and altered by sin. Even our compassion is distorted by sin. We seek to keep people from hurting when that is the only way 'they can come to the Lord and realize their need for a Savior. We refuse to discipline our children because we don't want to upset
