Rock Music. Their children had inherited demons through the parents, thus the behavioral problems. I told them that they must get down on their knees together and first go before the Lord and ask His forgiveness for their sins. Then they must each command the demons that had come into them through these sins, to leave them in the name of Jesus Christ. John, being in the position of head of the household, needed to clean himself out first, then help his wife to command the demons out of herself. Jane also had to renounce her involvement in MTV and Rock Music, and they had to clean out their home of all Rock music records and tapes. Then they were to anoint both their children and command the demons to leave them in the name of Jesus, ask the Lord to break the line of inheritance and seal their children from that source of demons. Jane wrote back that she and John were very frightened at the thought of directly confronting the demons themselves, but, in obedience to God's word, they did so. They then started spending time together daily, in prayer and reading the Bible. The change in their children and their own lives was dramatic, but Jane was still having trouble with sexual relations. However, over the next three months as she per sistently sought the Lord, the Holy Spirit showed her sever al more areas in her life that needed to be cleaned up. As Jane continued to submit herself to the Lord and walk in obedience to His commands, He completely healed her, and their marriage is now a happy and normal one. The Lord is so gracious, if we would only seek Him and obey His commands, He would bring tremendous healing and cleansing into our lives. I described at some length how parents should approach the problem of demons in their children in Chapter 14 on ritualistic child abuse . This same approach should be used for any children who have inherited demons through the parents. As parents read this chapter and recognize the
