cepted Jesus as their Savior at a fairly early age. During their engagement, Jane and John did not obey God's word. They had sexual relations and Jane became pregnant. Be cause of their involvement in a rather large Christian church in which both of their families were also involved, they did not feel they could handle the embarrassment of a pregnancy out of wedlock. They talked it over and both decided that the only answer was for Jane to get an abortion, which she did. Several months later they were married. Their marriage was a disaster! They could never establish a satisfactory sexual relationship. Jane was tormented by guilt and had two children in an effort to get rid of that guilt. Because of the children she stopped working and stayed at home. With more time on her hands, she became more and more depressed over the poor quality of her marriage. Eventually she became involved in watching MTV and started living in a fantasy world which revolved around sex and the Rock Music stars. Things went from bad to worse, and their children developed major behavior al problems. It was at that point that they wrote to me. They had read He Came To Set The Captives Free, and had realized that they had opened a doorway for demonic power in their lives through the abortion and the sin of pre marital sex. They did not feel that they could ask their minister or anyone else in the church for help because, by that time, the church had deteriorated into a hot-bed of gossipers. They did not know anyone else in the area who could help them. I wrote back to them explaining that through the abortion, they had directly opened a doorway for demons to come into both of them. Abortion is, in essence, human sacrifice to Satan, the god of self. John was equally responsible with Jane. Demons had gone into each of them as a result of that sin. Then, in her unhappiness, Jane had opened herself up to more demons through her involvement in MTV and
