Prepare-for-War

Finally, just as my father got better and went to his own home for awhile, and Elaine partially recovered, Satan struck one of his final blows to our ministry in that area. The satanists swept in, and in one night, while Elaine and I were out of the house for a couple of hours, destroyed everything we had. They axed everything in my home, even killing our precious pets. They also destroyed my office and everything we had. Elaine and I escaped with our lives and the clothes on our backs, that is all. Satan's attack was so well planned that at the same time everyone turned against us. Our church decided we were serving Satan and refused to help us. My own father and the rest of my family turned against us. Elaine's family helped the satanists de stroy everything we had. Members of both of our families moved to try to get us permanently committed to a mental institution. We had no choice but to flee the state. The next year was a year of "hell." We ended up in the ghettos of a major city living in a shack in the slums without even proper plumbing. Because I was not licensed in that state, we nearly starved to death. I ended up in the hospital very ill as my own cancer surfaced. It was during this time that I realized the meaning of the scripture about a double minded man. One night shortly after I was discharged from the hospital I hit rock-bottom. There seemed no escape and I simply couldn't bear the situation in which I found myself. I walked the streets bare-footed a whole night one night struggling with the Lord, and trying to decide whether or not to commit suicide. Doubts and fears poured in and I made no attempt to stop them. I finally reached the point where I began to doubt that I had ever been called into spiritual warfare by the Lord in the first place. That is when the Lord spoke to me forcibly saying, "You are a double-minded man!" Then He flooded into my mind the rest of that scripture and showed me that by accepting the doubts and fears Satan was flood
