had abused many other children there also. Barbara and her husband went to the Lord in prayer. They anointed Cindi and asked the Lord to lift out the demons. She demonstrated an immediate personality change for the better. However, over the next six months, as her mother kept her at home and provided her with a very secure and loving atmosphere, she acted out her ex periences in play with her dolls. Many times she would throw her doll in a chair and command it in a very stern voice, "Now you sit there and shut-up or I'll kill you and I'll kill your Mommy." Each time Cindi became moody, had a crying spell, acted something out in her play, or had a nightmare, Barbara took her into her arms, held her lovingly, quietly com manded the demons to leave her in the name of Jesus Christ, and prayed asking the Lord to heal and protect Cindi. Barbara and her husband anointed their house, espe cially Cindi's bedroom. They joined together and prayed with Cindi every morning and every night, asking the Lord to heal and protect her. They also prayed asking the Lord to erase the terrible experiences from Cindi's memory. Over a period of six months Cindi steadily improved until she was back to her normal sunny, happy, self again. I praise God for the love and faith of her parents. She is a very fortunate little girl. I do want to warn you of one mistake frequently made by parents in such situations. The tendency is to drop all disci pline of the child. You must understand that discipline pro vides stability and security in the life of a child. You must continue the same standards you have already established with your child. If you disciplined him before you knew about the abuse for certain actions, you must continue to do so. Your child will be quick to try you out. Not only to see if he can take advantage of the situation, but also look ing for security. If you refuse to discipline him because of what has happened to him, you will only be compounding
