Lord, Jesus WILL completely cleanse and heal your child. You will see, over a period of weeks and months, a steady and gradual change as the healing takes place. Their three year old child had been sexually molested and abused in satanic ritu als in a pre-school run by a Christian church. (I have changed all their names to protect them.) As I mentioned earlier in this chapter, the first incident that really alerted Cindi's mother, Barbara, was a startling state ment by Cindi. Cindi was having an episode of diarrhea which had made her bottom sore. Barbara obtained some medicine from her doctor to help the soreness and rash. The first day she started to apply the cream to Cindi's bottom the child started screaming and crying and shaking violently. "Please, Mommy, don't cut me there again!" Needless to say, Barbara was horrified. Such a thought would normally never enter Cindi's mind unless she had been previously abused in such a manner. That was when Barbara called me in tears. Barbara had noticed that Cindi had become unhappy and withdrawn with frequent episodes of crying, tantrums and nightmares. Prior to that time, she had been a calm and sunny child with a very happy disposition. Fortunately Barbara and her husband were very protective of their children, did not allow them to watch TV and were very careful what toys they gave them. Therefore, they knew their children were not experienced with violence or the vocabulary of violence. Barbara and her husband talked with the leaders of the pre school, and after investigation it was found that a satanist was in a high position on the staff.
