Karma comes into play. Remember we are here for one purpose only, and that is to find our way back to the Father's house - to be the true Self-expression of the Infinite. If our soul is evolving, and more and more Light is entering our consciousness, we are said to be on the Path ... if the foundation (of religion} is based on One Presence, One Infinite Love, One Power, One God, One Supreme Being, One Father, with each individual a spiritual manifestation of the One, and with the Oneness of God and man as the cen tral theme, then you are approaching the High Religion taught by the Masters." (Ibid, p. 44-45)

Note here that this line of New Age teaching makes a dis tinction between "Christ" and "Jesus." In other words, they deny the unique divinity of Jesus, but say that "Christ" spoke through a man called Jesus. They deny that there is any difference between Jesus and the rest of us humans. They claim that this "Christ" spirit was also in Buddah, Mohammed, Krishna, etc. They teach that God is an impersonal "force" which has to have a way of manifesting and experiencing existence. They teach that each human being is a manifestation of God, thus wiping out any difference between the creature and the Creator. This leads to the inevitable conclusion: "These men and women are not running around play ing God. They are God." (Ibid., p. 27) "The Spirit of God where you are - in and around and through you - is your Spirit." (Ibid., p. 34.) And finally to the greatest possible error: "The idea of 'original sin' is totally false ... The High Religion has nothing to do with sin, only the spiritual development of man." (Ibid., p. 12.) Where there is no sin, there is no need of a Savior. But the Bible tells us that we have all sinned. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one." Romans 3: 10
