The words of the mantra are not particularly important, the repetition is what is important. Rapid repetition helps to blank out the mind. As you understand this mechanism, you begin to realize the importance of the frequently repeat ed phrases and choruses in ALL forms of Rock Music, and in the Catholic rosary. You will also understand why Jesus told us that repetitious prayers "as the pagans do" are unacceptable. Rock music provides countless people with mantras which summon demons to come to them and at the same time opens them up to demonic entrance through their blanked out minds.

Mala - a string of beads used in reciting a mantra. The mantra phrase or "prayer" is repeated for each bead.

Rosary - a string of "prayer beads" used in Roman Catholicism. The prayer "Hail Mary" is repeated for each small bead and "Our Father" for each large bead in the same type of repetition as a mantra. It is important to understand these basic concepts because it is impossible to start sharing the gospel with someone in volved either in Hinduism or the New Age Movement without first defining what you mean by the very word "God." To them, "God" is an impersonal nothingness
