To get rid of the demon, Lea simply asked the Lord to for give her for not completely following His word. Then she spoke aloud and commanded the demon of false tongues to leave her in the name of Jesus Christ. Her stomach and in testinal problems were immediately healed. I heard from her again six months after she had kicked out the demon. She joyfully told me that she could again read the Bible free from interference and her relationship with the Lord was closer than it had ever been. She could pray freely and joyfully. How many people have received demons of false tongues, prophecy, etc. by accepting the laying on of hands by a person who is not truly a servant of God? How many have accepted demonic healings through this same error? The Lord has dealt very strongly with Elaine and myself on this issue. We never permit anyone to lay their hands on us unless we first have assurance from the Lord that that is what He wants us to do~ Many times we are tempted to allow people to lay their hands on us and pray simply out of politeness, not wanting to make anyone mad. A true ser vant of God will not be insulted if you explain to him or her that you are not led of the Lord to have them lay their hands on you. False servants will get very angry. Humility is the mark of a true servant of the Lord. We live in perilous times. Be very cautious about who you submit yourself and your children to. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing. Signs and Wonders I am increasingly concerned with the romance going on be tween Christians and miracles. A very large percentage of Christians seek after nothing but miracles. Somehow they have the idea that they should sail through life with no troubles, commanding God to work miracle after miracle to satisfy their every want. Jesus directly addressed such an attitude while He was here on earth.
