sure there will be times when a Christian will be command ed by the Lord to cast demons out of an unbeliever. But I doubt that this will be a regular occurrence, and most certainly, quick follow-up is a must to bring that person to the Lord, or they will be much worse off than in the beginning. This past year I became involved in a very sad case where demons were cast out of a young lady who was not a Christian. Unfortunately, the Christians involved did not take the time to find out that she was not a Christian, and therefore did not bring her to Christ immediately after deliverance. Tragedy was the result. I wish I could say this is the only ca~e of this kind I have run into, but it is not. Here is her story. Chris (not her real name) is a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She became involved in a charismatic Catholic group through which she attended a Bible study which quickly evolved into a cult. The leaders of the group practiced all sorts of meditation and taught psychic skills. After about a year of participation, Chris realized that she had become involved in the occult through the group and withdrew. Her troubles started shortly afterwards when she went to the superiors within the Church to complain about the group's activities. For a year before I first heard from her, Chris had been daily tgrmented by demons. Frequently she felt as if boiling hot water was poured over various parts of her body, and sometimes actual physical burns manifested. She was unable to sleep because of various forms of torment and had numerous unexplainable illnesses and accidents. She even fled to another city but received no relief. She sought the counsel of numerous Catholic priests, but none were able to help her. She finally heard about me through the Closet Witches tapes.
