mand the demons to come out of her because she was not a Christian and refused to accept the materials I presented to her on the Roman Catholic Church (as detailed in Chapter 11). I knew that she could not remain clear ofdemons with out becoming a true believer in Jesus Christ, and neither could she stay free as long as she was linked with the Roman Catholic system. Six months passed and then Chris contacted me again. Two weeks prior to this last contact she had visited a service in a Protestant church in the area which practices deliverance. She went forward after the service to ask for deliverance. Without taking the time to find out where Chris really stood with the Lord, those people simply commanded the demons to come out, which they did. Chris told me the following: "I knew all the demons were gone, and I felt such a terrible emptiness inside which I can't really describe. The agony of the emptiness was almost as great as the demonic torment had been. However, I did sleep that night without the usual torment for the first time in almost two years." Two days later, because of her great emptiness, she attend ed mass and took communion at her Catholic Church. Chris told me what had happened. "Immediately as I took communion I was overwhelmed with a rush of fire and energy, then horrifying pain. I knew that all the demons had rushed back into me again and many more besides. I am much worse now than I ever was!"
