Years ago, Wilkerson also saw a time when the government would be in such terrible financial condition that they would be unable to pay people who are receiving forms of government assistance. He also saw the day when there would be a strong public backlash against unions—particularly public service employee unions. When Americans are suffering economically, they don’t want more money taken from their limited income to keep public service employees and union leaders financially well off. Today we are on the verge of the fulfillment of both of these events. We have already seen what happened to Greece as a result of the demands of their public service unions and unionized employees. Greed and dishonesty bring trouble upon both the household and the nation (Prov. 15:27).
