In our early ministry when smokers desired to quit, we would pray that they would become sick of the smoke. I received reports that this began to occur in believers who sincerely desired to stop. Thus, prayer is very significant and a powerful weapon for this struggle. Continual smoking is a habit, and it will eventually cause you and even those living with you serious health problems. I believe it is the will of the Lord to give you a long life and to remove from your life any habit that could reduce the number of your days.
