Breaking The Jewish Code Perry Stone

when King Saul was still on Israel’s throne. David patiently waited several years, allowing his season to arrive, before being exalted as king. When you see what others are accomplishing, you tend to copy their methods, which don’t always work in your own situation. Prosperity and success do not come instantly, like winning some jackpot, but they are cultivated daily like flowers in a garden, needing water and sunlight. Perry’s Insight #7—Don’t build without counting the cost. In Luke 14:28, Christ said, “For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it.” I have built two major ministry offices—one is twenty-five thousand square feet, and the latest is forty-five thousand square feet. When understanding our need for expansion, I remembered the words of Christ to “count the cost.” I took a lesson from Solomon. His father, David, set aside a portion of the gold and silver for the sacred furniture long before Solomon began the building process (1 Chron. 28:11–19). I began setting aside additional income solely for the preparation of the new building(s). By doing this, we only borrowed $100,000 on one occasion. Both edifices were completed and dedicated debt free. The same rule is used when purchasing our television airtime, which totals over three million dollars a year. A year in advance, we begin setting aside increments of income to provide payment for one year of airtime. This relieves the stress and burden of paying monthly bills and being concerned
