Breaking The Jewish Code Perry Stone

one song! This gift was hidden, until pushed to the surface by a person operating in the same gift. Years ago, I hired a young woman on staff to assist with answering e-mails, letters, and phone calls. Weeks later my wife said, “Did you know she is a great singer?” I didn’t, but I eventually heard her and her husband at our local church. We invited this couple to minister at our main convention and later twisted her arm to record a gospel CD. This CD was such an inspiration to the body of Christ that she has produced four others, each with dynamic songs and vocals. She is my little girl’s favorite gospel singer. Thus, Gina Bean has blessed thousands with her music, and the income from her and her husband’s, Larry, music helps provide for their needs and ministry. Proverbs 18:16 says, “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.” Perry’s Insight #6—Don’t compare yourself with others. One of the biggest mistakes we make is when we compare what we are doing with what others are accomplishing. The Bible says it is not wise to compare ourselves with others (2 Cor. 10:12). Ministers often compare the attendance in their church with other congregations in the community. This is unwise. If you are not experiencing results or a surge of growth as others are, you will tend to feel that you are failing and will not see the other successes you may be accomplishing. It is not wise, because growth, increase, and blessings occur at certain seasons during your life cycle, and your growth season may be delayed for a time in the future.
