197 IF the person commits a temple-defiling sin thus opening a doorway, the demons will all come back in and many more besides. People who have been in the occult are particular ly tempted with doing "just one more incantation” to get their own way. If they do, they have just asked all the demons to come back into them. Also, remember, scripture says rebellion is the same as the sin ofwitchcraft. You CANNOT rebel against the Lord’s commands. If you persist in walk ing in disobedience and rebellion, you will be unable to keep the demons from returning. Often I have people tell me that they don’t ”feel any dif ferent" after deliverance. That’s O.K. There is no feeling in faith. The fruits of their life will show that they are clear. You cannot rely upon feelings when dealing with the spirit world. 2. DEMANDS FOR EMOTIONAL REWARDS. Oh how we human beings love emotional rewards. People always want to FEEL something. They want to feel the demons leave. They want to feel the love of God. They want to feel good. This walk of ours is in FAITH. There are no feelings in faith. One of the first things the Lord does is wean us away from emotional rewards. You OBEY regardless of how you feel. You function regardless of how you feel. Demons are only too happy to give us emotional highs to get us into bondage to them. People after deliverance should not seek emotional highs thinking these are "spiritual experiences." One of the most common complaints I get is that someone doesn’t think he is clear from the demons because he doesn’t FEEL like reading his Bible or praying. Our sin na ture will keep us from "feeling like" doing the things God
