Becoming A Vessel Of Honor Rebecca Brown

196 their life. It is simply a waste of time to try to deliver some one who is living in active sin. Many times I have simply prayed with a person and asked the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sins. I also ask the Lord to work in their life in whatever way is necessary to bring them to a place where they are willing to give up their sins. Too often people seek deliverance only to gain relief from their problems, NOT because they want to serve the Lord and live a life pleasing to Him. POST DELIVERANCE PROBLEMS: I have found that there are five general areas of problems people experience after deliverance: > 1. Fear that the demons are back in > 2. Demands for emotional rewards > 3. Passive mind > 4. Unwilling to put up with demonic harassment which is part of the reaping period > 5. Discipline of the "flesh”or sin nature 1. FEAR THAT THE DEMONS ARE BACK IN This is the most common problem of all. People are con tinually afraid that the demons have gotten back into them. There are only two ways that demons can get back into a person after deliverance: 1. If the person commits a "temple-defiling sin" 2. If the person directly asks the demons to come back in Remember, the demons can cause the same physical symptoms from the outside that they did from the inside. Physical symptoms, or thoughts, are NOT proof that the demons are back inside. The person must stand in FAITH that they are gone.
