195 can easily fake physical symptoms of leaving. ONLY the Holy Spirit can see the demons. You must rely upon Him for guidance. Also, IF the person has truly repented and confessed his sins, the demons have to leave. So you accept in faith that they are gone because God ALWAYS performs His word. STEP 4: Stop sinning! Saturate your life with God’s word. However, there is a most important point in all of this that many people over look. That is Step 4 in deliverance — STOP SINNING. You MUST be a true believer in Jesus Christ to have authority over demons. But, you cannot be a BELIEVER without also being an OBEYER.
"Ifyelove me, keep mycommandments... He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." John 14:15 & 21 "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
There is no substitute for obedience. If you think you believe in and are serving Jesus, but are not also obeying His commands as given in the Bible, you are lying to your self. You are not a believer unless you are also an obeyer.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
Unfortunately, usually only the second half of this verse is quoted. I cannot emphasize enough the necessity of the first half. If we are not submitted to the Lord and obeying His commands, we cannot hope to have any power over demons.
