194 their own salvation." (Phil 2:12) We have a responsibility now that those people did not have in the days before the giving of the Holy Spirit. I have also found that once a person establishes authority over the demons within himself, the demons have to go. This is particularly true for those who have been involved in the occult. People in the occult are used to obeying the demons and letting them do pretty much whatever they want to do. It is a big step for them to realize that once they serve Jesus Christ they now have more power in Jesus than the demons have. It is absolutely necessary that people es tablish authority over the demons within them in the name of Jesus. If they do not, they will not be able to keep the demons out after deliverance. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO KNOW THE NAMES OF ALL THE DEMONS. It is NOT necessary to command the demons to come out one by one. Command the demons to come out by the sins that let them in. The ONLY time you should deal with specific demon names is with people in volved in the occult who work with familiar spirits. These familiars must be rebuked individually and commanded to leave by name. BUT, the people already know the names of these demons. If they tell you they do not, they are lying. It is NEVER necessary to allow a demon to manifest or speak through the person. The more the person being delivered controls the demons'inside of himself, the quick er and easier the deliverance will be. The most common question is, "If the demons don’t manifest, then how do we know they have left?" The answer is simple. "Because the Holy Spirit tells you." Remember, demons are spirits, and as such, we cannot see them. If you are relying on physical manifestations to let you know the demons have left, you will be fooled because the demons
