contention and strife. It also means "having a war-like nature." Fanatical Muslims in Israel gain global attention through suicide bombings. In the Sudan, Islamic radicals have murdered hundreds of thousands of Christians with little opposition. In America, we know that Islamic terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing nearly 3,000 innocent people. In other nations, Christian churches are burned to the ground, children are kidnapped and Christian women are taken as slaves by these religious fanatics. Secular, moderate Muslims often point out to us that these individuals do not represent the mainstream of Islam. Yet, the number of Muslims who use the name of Allah to bring destruction to non-Muslims seems to be increasing globally. Certainly, to identify this type of fanatic as "wild" is certainly accurate. T HE D ANGEROUS B EAST John used the Greek word meaning therion , alluding to a dangerous and wild animal, to describe the final world empire hosted by the Antichrist. Notice that it is not just the Antichrist himself who is dangerous, but the entire Beast kingdom. This includes the 10 horns, or 10 kings, that are a part of this fierce kingdom of darkness. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind,
