According to Muslim tradition, the time will come when the entire world will be Muslim, an no other religion will be practiced. What would it be like living under the rule of a fanatical Islamic dictator? This question can be answered by observing the conditions of modern nations whose governments are controlled by fanatical Muslims. 1. The first demand would be forced conversion or death. In such nations as the Sudan and parts of Nigeria, armed Muslim warriors enter villages demanding the entire village to meet together. Those who convert to Islam are spared. Those who do not are killed to create fear. Often, the men are killed while the wives and daughters are raped and the children taken to be raised as Muslims. In Indonesia, more than 8,000 Christians were forced to convert to Islam or face death (Source: Voice of the Martyrs magazine). 2. The second requirement would be to destroy churches and synagogues. Indonesia is the largest Islamic nation in the world, with 170 million people. While the president is a moderate Muslim leader, the radical Muslims, or jihad warriors, have killed more then 10,000 Christians in two years. At least 600 church buildings have been set on fire, bombed or destroyed since 1995. While many moderate Muslims have gotten along with Christians for years, the rise of the fanatics is a serious threat to the stability of many Asian nations, including Indonesia.
