our Lord was crucified" (Revelation 11:8). Egypt loved slavery and Sodom was a city corrupted with sexual perversion, especially homosexuality (2 Peter 2:6-10). Apparently, bi-sexual and homosexual activity is common among some groups of Muslims, although it said to be forbidden. This is not to say that most Muslims are homosexuals or that they approve of these acts; most Muslims would not. But those on the "inside," especially from Middle Eastern and Persian Gulf nations, reveal a strong weakness to bisexuality and homosexual activity. The inspired prophet Daniel, again gives his readers an amazing insight into the Antichrist's feelings toward the opposite sex: Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, not regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all (Daniel 11:37). From this passage some have speculated that the Antichrist may be a homosexual. The term no desire of women infers his lack of interest in the opposite sex. While this verse does not explicitly state that this man will be openly gay, the fact is that if homosexuality is common in certain regions, it would not forbid this sexual orientation in the coming Antichrist. Speaking of women, in many Middle Eastern and Gulf nations, women are not treated with the dignity and respect they would receive in the West.
