One example can be seen in 1 Corinthians 3:13: “the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.” 1 When God allowed Job to be tested with the total loss of his children, his wealth, and his health, the Lord already knew that Job would not curse Him; God expected and planned a good outcome when Job’s trial concluded.
