7. Prophecy Interpretation and Translation Prophetic company members are to receive and hear the word of the Lord directly and from other prophets or prophesiers to ascertain its authenticity by rightly dividing God’s word using Bible truth and the prophet’s spiritual faculties. They are to apply God’s wisdom to communicate or clarify prophecy in ways their audiences can comprehend and act on in obedience to the Lord. 8. Vision Interpretation and Application Prophetic company members are expected to understand and apply the prophetic medium of visions and interpret their imagery to deliver the word of the Lord. This also pertains to symbols, signs, and tokens. They are to study Scripture to cement the word as God’s by identifying Bible passages, profiles, precedents, or patterns that substantiate the dream or visions. 9. Dream Interpretation and Application Company prophets are expected to understand their own and others’ dreams to see if they are Holy Spirit inspired and safe to release to the body or the intended target or audience. Company prophet training should include what God may say through the medium of dreams and visions. They are to be equipped for this by studying Scripture to cement the word as God’s by identifying Bible passages, profiles, precedents, or patterns that substantiate the dream or visions. 10. Prophecy Clarification and Confirmation Prophetic company members are to hear and evaluate prophecy from within the group and within the body to clarify what is or is not from the Lord and to confirm those who deliver prophecy regularly as accurate. Of the many goals for this function is the company prophet’s eventual validation of consistently accurate prophesiers as potential prophets or prophetics in the making. 11. Prophecy Screening Company prophets are to review written prophecies or prophetic messages and approve them before they are given to the church or its leadership to ensure only the true word of God is delivered. 12. Remediating Prophetic Errors and Prophecy When guest prophecies are uttered, as needed, company prophets are to
