The Bible’s View of a Prophetic Company For the purposes of shaping your mind and preparing your spirit to establish and/or serve in a prophetic company, the following explanations are provided to give you practical terms that express the symbology of your future prophetic service. It is based on how the conquering monarchical era of the Bible saw its ministers and agents. These applications were even attached to the prophets like Deborah, Joshua, Samuel, and Moses. Thus, a prophet was seen in Scripture as a predictive, revelatory authority who also functioned as:
a soldier, a member of a military force a specially trained adult in the use of a particular weapon a capable fighter to serve the king permanently professional soldiery including cavalrymen, or troops a guarding soldier assigned to protect a particular person or thing a charioteer who fought from a chariot a commander who led other soldiers a centurion, a non-commissioned officer commanding at least a hundred men a sergeant serving as the local policeman, enforcing the law, with punishment pronounced by the magistrate
