souls (mind, will, and emotions). God shamars our going out and coming in (travels). It is the nature of God to protect. Protection is a part of our covenant. Prophets are a part of our covenant. Some leaders look at prophets as trans-local ministries only, while the pastor is stationary. It is a blessing to bring prophets in from the outside to minister. This does not replace prophets that need to be stationed in the house. These shamar prophets are a part of the local church, just as pastors. THE CONSPIRACY OF THE WICKED This section is not designed to make believers paranoid or fearful, but to wake up believers to the reality of wicked plots by the enemy. We must become sober and vigilant. The following scriptures give us a picture of the plots and conspiracies of the wicked. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings. From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about... They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth; Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. (Psa. 17:8-9, 11-12) The enemy is compared to a lion lurking in secret places. To lurk means to stay hidden, ready for attack. It means to lie in wait, as in ambush. The wicked plotteth against the just... (Psa. 37:12) Plotteth is the Hebrew word zaman , meaning to plan, consider, imagine, plot, purpose, think (evil). This verse shows that the enemy is always planning attacks against the righteous. This includes churches, families, and godly leaders. The shamar ministry is needed to ward off and destroy these plots. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to
