It is a spirit that forms unholy alliances and convinces leadership to rebel against divine and delegated authority (e.g., pastors, eldership). It refuses to give honor and respect to whom it is due because it causes its hosts to feel that they are equal in status, station, and call. This spirit is like a cancer that quickly spreads within a local church. In order to eliminate the contamina tion within the ranks of leadership, this spirit must be openly challenged, judged, and forcefully expelled.
