Witchcraft Release Power, love, sound mind, boldness, peace, spiritual mindedness, liberty, and courage S pirit of I dolatry One of the works of the flesh, and a master spirit used by Satan to control corporal and corporate destinies, idolatry is the substitute for God and salva tion. When you place anything or anyone ahead of God, and He is preempted as the zenith of pursuits and affection, this is idolatry. Idolatry has many modi operandi, such as social, natural, historical, spiritual, and cultural. The spirit of idolatry seduces people and nations to display extravagant emotional forms of the worship of things and/or people, while establishing strongholds of traditional, cultural practices and beliefs. Idolatry can manifest itself through philosophies, education, and political activities. It also opens doors to demonic activities. According to Ezekiel, idolatry originates in the mind of Satan and is projected into the minds of mankind.
