not ready to just come straight out. God had to send ten plagues for the purpose of those miracles, breaking something up in the spirit first. And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the first born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it anymore. Exodus 11:4-6 Many times something has to be broken in the spirit realm before God can accomplish what He desires to do. You may wonder why God could not just go in and bring the children of Israel out. Something had to be broken in the spirit realm before God's people could come out. Many times something has to be broken in the realm of the spirit before God can bring people out of a certain area of bondage into a new area of liberty. Some people never come out of certain areas of bondage because something has not been broken in the spirit realm and dealt with by the power of God. Until the power of God breaks that thing in the spirit realm, those people will remain in bondage. That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? Isaiah 14:17 Satan is never going to let the people go willingly. It is not his nature to do so. Satan is never going to allow a person to just go free. He will hold them. This is why every time Moses would go to Pharaoh and say, "Let my people go," Pharaoh would harden his heart. He had to be forced to let the people go.
