C. Christ will then return to Jerusalem

1. This is the third phase of the battle

a. He will return to the Mount of Olives (Zech 14:1-7; Acts 1:11) b. The Mount of Olives is in Jerusalem, in front of the East Gate at the Temple Mount c. There are numerous Jewish and Muslim graves on the Mount and in front of the East Gate d. There is presently an earthquake fault line on the Mount of Olives

D. When Christ returns

1. The beast and false prophets are removed from the earth (Rev. 19:20)

a. Korah and his house were cast alive into the pit and so will the antichrist and false prophet b. Satan will be bound for one thousand years (Rev. 20:1-3) in the abyss (bottomless pit) c. The “seal” on the pit prevents Satan from being loosed from the pit d. Those having received the mark of the beast are also removed (Matt. 13:30)

2. The saints will return with Christ as the armies of Heaven (Rev. 19:11-16)

a. The Valley of Jehoshaphat is where a judgment of the nations will occur (Joel 3:2 and12) b. The Messiah will judge the nations and separate the sheep from the goats (Matt. 25:32-33)

THERE WILL BE A MILLENNIAL TEMPLE

A. Christ will become King over all the earth

    

B. Christ is coming as the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah” ( Rev. 5:5)

1. He is “King of kings and Lord of lords” (Rev. 19:16)

C. Psalms 72:1-19 reveals the nations that will worship Christ

 The kings of Tarshish shall render him tribute  The kings of Sheba and Dedan shall offer gifts  The kings shall fall before him and nations shall worship him  He shall deliver the needy and the poor who cry out to him
