B. These judgments are the “grapes of wrath” (Rev. 14:19)

1. There is the sickle of the Son of Man (Christ who caught up the 144,000 from the earth) 2. There is a sickle of the angel (reaping the grapes of wrath against the sinners on earth) 3. The grape harvest is the last of the three harvest cycles in ancient Israel 4. The grapes are crushed and this is called the blood of the grape (Duet. 32:14) 5 . The wrath is “poured out” (Isa. 63:1 - 3) and men are “trampled in God’s fury.”

C. Blood will be to the horse bridles (Rev. 14:20)

1. The blood refers to the war and battle outside of Jerusalem 2. The blood stretches for 1,600 furlongs (from Jerusalem to the battle site) 3. One furlong is 220 yards, 8 furlongs is 1 statute mile, 1,600 furlongs is 200 miles 4. The bodies will be piled up to the horse bridles (an ancient manner of measurement)

D. The final judgments (Rev. 16:1-21) are vial judgments (meaning bowls or cups)

1. The seven angels enter the Temple and receive the vial judgments 2. The judgment comes to mystery Babylon because of the cup of filthiness and fornication 3. The judgment comes on the harlot system and she receives double for her iniquity 4. The seven angels pour out the vial judgments 5. The seventh angel later confesses he is a prophet and a servant of Christ (Rev. 22:8-9) 6. These seven angels may be seven prophets from the Old Testament

Note: The 7 th angel says, “It is done!” There is a release of demonic spirits.
