THE SECOND MULTITUDE IS SEEN IN HEAVEN

A. This is the imagery of a Feast of Tabernacles celebration
1. In Lev. 23:39 - This is a seven-day feast 2. The Hebrews lived seven days outside their homes in booths 3. It was called the seasons of our joy 4. The people made booths from the etrog, palm, myrtle, and willow branches
B. The procedure during Tabernacles
1. The Jews and Gentiles come together on this feast.
a. The 144,000 Jews and Gentiles from all nations (Rev. 7) b. The heavenly multitude no man can number (Rev. 7:9) c. The multitude is from all nations and peoples (Rev. 7:9)
2. The palm branches are waved during the Feast of Tabernacles
a. The Lulav was shaken during the celebration b. Palms are waved at the water drawing ceremony (over the brass altar) c. Palms are in their hands covering the altar
3. The last day of Tabernacles is called “ Hashanah Rab ah.”
a. The theme is the Lord saving His people . The multitudes cry, “ Hosanna,” or God save us .” b. In Heaven they cried, “Salvation to our God and unto the L amb.” ( Rev. 7:10) c. They cry “salvation to God” and this is the “Hosanna of heaven.”
4. The multitude begins to worship
a. The beasts begin to worship (Rev. 7:11) b. The twenty-four elders begin to worship God (Rev. 7:11)
