THE ANGEL OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Main verse: Revelation 22:8-9

 This angel was one of the seven angels in Rev. 17:1  It was one of the seven angels that showed John the latter part of the vision  This angel confessed he was a prophet and a servant of Christ

THE FINAL MESSAGE

“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this b ook.” - Rev. 22:6-7

    

The commission (22:16)

- I have sent my angel to testify to the church

The call (22:17)

- The Spirit and the bride say come

The caution (22:18-19)

- Don’t add to or take away from the words of this book

“I am coming quick ly ” ( Rev. 22:7) “I am coming quickly” ( Rev. 22:12)

 “Sur ely I am coming quickly” ( Rev. 22:20)

Key: The word quickly means speedily, shortly, or hastily! It means that, when things begin to come to pass, they will happen with great speed! (things shortly to come to pass – 1:1 and things that shortly must be done – 22:6)

IE: “ Amen ” (Hebrew closing), and “ Even so ” (Greek closing)
