For centuries of time, the religious Hebrew people have ceased from working on the seventh day (which is Saturday on the Jewish calendar) and have continued this weekly day of rest pattern that the Lord set in motion at Creation. Although spirit beings need no sleep or rest, our earthly physical bodies center on a twenty-four hour time period called a day . The average person sleeps eight hours, works eight hours, and eats two hours, with the remaining time for activity up to the person (usually it's the television or the Internet). We need rest to continue our daily activities. Our bodies are created with a chemical called melatonin . When darkness arrives, this chemical is secreted to help the body to sleep. When the light appears, there is no secretion of this substance.1 The Bible reveals how time is perceived by the Lord. Concerning the theory of time, it was called the time dilation theory, wherein the faster an object travels, the slower its perception of time becomes. Thus if an object could suddenly travel the speed of light, the perception of time would become zero, as perception of time slows down infinitely. Space becomes the second important aspect of time travel.
