She was involved in psychic healings, astral projection (also called soul-travel or astral-travel}, fortune telling, meditation, yoga, etc. As a teenager she visited a fortune teller who told her she would have a son who would be severely brain damaged. Bonnie did have a son who was in volved in a near-drowning incident in his early teens which left him severely brain damaged. A year after her son's acci dent she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, renounced all her occultic and New Age practices and was completely delivered ofall the demons within her. Everything went smoothly for about six months. Bonnie joined a local Christian church, studied her Bible daily and experienced the joy of the Lord in her life. Then, suddenly, chaos broke lose in her life. She was struck with a series of severe illnesses, suffered financial losses and hardest of all, suffered demonic torment almost continually, causing much sleeplessness. It was at this point that she called me. She had not permitted the demons to come back into her, but she was exhausted from all that had been happening, and discouraged because she thought that surely she must be doing something wrong. Bonnie's case is quite typical of so many who come out of occultic involvements. Usually the Lord holds the demonic attacks back for a brief time, giving the person a chance to get grounded in His word. Then they start to experience Satan's fury at their turning away from serving him, and they start to reap what they have sowed. I must tell the truth, and the unpalatable truth is that everyone who comes out of occultic involvements will undergo demonic torment for various periods of time. Jesus illustrated this very well in His parables:

"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, l will return into my house from whence I carne out; and when he is come, he findeth it
