Prepare-for-War
I want to directly address some awkward issues here which few Christians are willing to really talk about. The first is the question, why didn't God heal Elaine after she was delivered? She has, in fact, experienced illness after illness during the seven years since her final deliverance. Unfortu nately most Christians simply shrug theirshoulders at such situations and say, "Oh, you don't have enough faith," or, "You aren't willing to accept God's healing," or, "There must be some sin in your life." These answers are very comfortable for them, but are terrible for the person who is not healed, especially when none of the accusations are true. Continued demonic torment and illness is the norm for people coming out of the occult or any other course of deep sin. Why? Let us look at God's word. Elaine. has been reaping what she sowed. So will everyone else who comes out of similar circumstances. Before you start to get angry and say, "But, Jesus died on the cross so that we don't have to reap the results of our sins!" Let me point out another scripture to you. "And one of the malefactors [thieves] which were hanged railed on him. saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward ofour deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into they kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:39-43 The thief clearly understood that he was reaping what he "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:7-9
