Putting on a record of praise music she headed out to the kitchen to get some supper. As she stood staring tiredly into the refrigerator the Lord spoke to her again. "Go and look up the antidote for Pavulon, you have forgot ten it." "Now Lord? I'm hungry!" Rebecca had worked at the hospital almost without a break since 7 o'clock that morning. She had been on a schedule with no days off and very little sleep for the past several weeks. Elaine's pro longed critical illness coupled with the unrelenting attacks by the satanists had taken its toll. She was completely ex hausted both physically and emotionally. "Now," was the Lord's command. The intensity of the past two years had ingrained in Rebecca a habit of instant obedi ence to any command from the Lord. She let the refrigera tor door swing shut and headed for her bookcase. Pavulon is a drug used every day in the surgeries of all hospitals. It is given directly into a patient's vein through an I.V. It causes complete paralysis of all skeletal muscles in seconds and lasts about an hour unless the dosage is repeated. It is used during surgeries to paralyze the patient's muscles to prevent muscle spasm and thus minimize muscle damage from the surgery. However, in surgery, the anesthesiologist uses a special apparatus to breathe for the patient. If he did not, the patient would die because the muscle paralysis caused by the Pavulon makes it impossible for him to breathe. The antidote is pyridostigmine, a drug also given intravenously which almost instantly reverses the paralysis caused by the Pavulon. As Rebecca snapped
