Prepare-for-War

per week. If you do this faithfully each day for three months, you will have that scripture locked into your memory forever. If you are a man, perhaps you shave. Use this time to do scripture memory. Find some activity which you must do every day that doesn't require a lot of concentration and use that time for scripture memory. Maybe it can be done while you are doing dishes. Ask the Lord to show you ifyou can't think ofa time. You will soon find that the Holy Spirit will bring these verses back to your mind many times throughout the day. If you were using meditation techniques such as those involved in the New Age Movement, you will find this effort painful. But it is worth the effort. As you do this, you are fulfilling the command given to us in Romans 12: "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word . . . Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:9 & 11 The way to hide God's word in your heart is to memorize it. The actual time of deliverance, of battling through until all of the demons have been forced to leave, is extremely exhausting for everyone involved. Both the person who received deliverance and the deliverance workers will experience exhaustion and various physical symptoms afterwards. Muscle and joint pain is very common. If the deliverance has been a long and hard one, the person receiving deliverance may need to spend a day or two in bed resting afterwards. I cannot emphasize enough the " . . . present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye tralUl{ormed by tlu! renewing ofyour mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:1-2 There is wise counsel in Psalms 119.
