Prepare-for-War

Also, when you command a demon to manifest, you give it ground to rip and tear at the person they are in. I have seen a deliverance minister on a video tape tell a young man seeking deliverance to "just relax and let the demons do whatever they want." What error this is! When did Jesus let the demons do whatever they wanted? Again, there is no scriptural basis for this practice. I have had to actually hospitalize people because of such deliverance practices. Turn a demon lose in a deliverance situation, and he will do all he can to physically kill the person before he has to come out. You as a deliverance worker should always seek to minimize the damage done by the demons. I challenge everyone working in the area of deliverance. Must you rely upon manifestations and physical symptoms to know if a demon is in a person, what and who the demons are, and if they have left or not? If you do, then I must tell you, you do not have the relationship with the Lord you need in order to work in this ministry! Mass Deliverance This is another common practice amongst many deliverance workers. Again, I cannot find one single scripture to support "mass deliverances." Jesus always worked with each person as an individual. In fact, in many cases, He quickly cast out a demon before a crowd could arrive.

"When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him." Mark 9:25

Jesus hastened to cast out the demon before the crowd could arrive. Jesus did not come to put on a show. Demons love to put on a show! The great chapter on love in I Corinthians 13 tells us that love always protects. Why would we not protect a person seeking deliverance from public embarrassment?
