Immediately the pain left and she recovered over the next few days. This is a true story which happened in just the past year. In this case, Amelia interpreted an experience in the spirit world as being a dream. As I have pointed out several places in this book aiready, frequently, experiences in the spirit world and through our spirits seem to be dreams. I am sure this is why the Bible makes reverences to the Holy Spirit communicating with His people through dreams and visions. However, the experience was real, and God permitted the bite to be manifested in Amelia's physical body as well. I am sure that was to help the missionaries realize what was actually happening. I have no doubt that the baboon Amelia saw was actually a demon. She and her husband as well as Pastor R. were under very heavy attack from the local witch doctors at the time. Her illness was a real physi cal illness, but the cause was demonic. A baboon of the size she saw bite her could not have gotten into their house without awakening her husband who was in the same bed with her at the time. Only the power of Jesus Christ could deal with such a problem. 2. Now, let us look at another real case which is similar, but happened within the past year here in the United States. I received a call from a pastor who had read my first book. He was involved with a couple who had come out of Satanism. They had a five year old girl whom I will call Judy (not her real name.) Shortly after Judy's parents accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and renounced their involvement in Satanism, Judy began to have screaming episodes at night where she said she "dreamed" someone was biting her. At first her parents just assumed she was having nightmares. In a few days, however, Judy became very ill, and this time, when she was wide awake, she would start screaming and saying someone was biting her. Actual physical bite marks started appearing on her skin.
