We mWit control our minds. I know of no other single tactic used by Satan's kingdom which brings down more Christians. We cannot let down our ·guard for a minute. Toying with thoughts of going back on a commitment is sin! Think not that you will receive any thing from God if you do this! Another area where demons attack is in the area of interper sonal relationships. Demons frequently place negative thoughts into your mind about your family or other people with whom you work closely. How many times do you just know how your spouse is feeling, when, if you would only ask him, you would find out that he wasn't feeling or think ing that at all? Also, many times a demon will put "scramblers" on your ears. They try to do this with Elaine and myself frequently. Sometimes what Elaine says and what I hear are two dif ferent things. Sometimes I will say, "Why did you say that?!" She will answer "Why did I say what?" And as we discuss it we find out that she did not say what I thought she said. The same thing happens to Elaine. This is a frequent source of trouble in any close relationship. Be alert to demonic interference in this area. Another big area of trouble is with a person who has a demon or demons dwelling in them for one reason or another. Frequently the demon will speak through the wife, for instance, saying something extremely hurtful to her husband. And believe me, demons know just how to jab where it hurts the most! Then the demon will back down leaving the wife to face the explosion from her husband. Usually she won't even know what came out of her mouth, and she then won't be able to understand why her husband is so angry at her. I have seen numerous marriages de stroyed in just this manner. Often the problem is a simple doorway that wasn't closed in someone's life. Let me give you an example ofPastor I. and his wife whom
