Each time they blank out their minds they have directly opened themselves up to an inflow of demons. All of these people will need deliverance after they accept Jesus Christ. A good understanding of the concepts in Chapter 15 is es sential for these people. The mind is sort of like a muscle, it becomes flabby without use and the process of regaining control is painful. Meditation is an escape from pain and reality. It also gives them a demonic "high" very similar to cocaine or other such drugs. In this sense, meditation is ex tremely addictive, not only because of the demons involved, but also simply because of the pleasure it gives. Just as drug addicts not only have the physical withdrawal symptoms to cope with, they also desire and crave the drugs because of the pleasure they give. Once the demons are cast out, then the person will have a tremendous strug gle with his natural, sinful, fleshly desires for the pleasure and highs obtained through either drugs or meditation. 3. In the Western Hemisphere, a subtle "acceptable" form of Hinduism and reincarnation is taught. Reincarna tion is considered a curse in India and other Eastern nations because the never ending cycle or "wheel" of endless rein carnations is a terrible burden. Here in the West, it is taught that people always reincarnate as people, and that every reincarnation is in an upward direction of greater and greater spiritual evolution.
