New Age beliefs. It is not possible to list them all, but there is no need for such a list. All you have to do is closely check out their beliefs and teachings with God's word, the Bible, and you will quickly find out that this basic error is present in all of them. Satan is so very deceptive. David Spangler, another of the New Age leaders makes a very interesting statement. David is right, the spirit of the new age is none other than Satan himself, the anti-Christ. We mut test the spirits or we will be pulled straight down into an eternity in hell. Sharing the Gospel with New Agers These people are an extremely difficult group to share the gospel with for several reasons. (1) They are demonically controlled. (2) They have allowed their minds to become very passive through meditative practices. (3) Their belief in reincarnation. (4) Many of them have experienced astral projection. (5) They have accepted the teaching that each person has their own "truth" and that we each create our own "reality." Here are some suggestions as to how to ap proach these people with the gospel. 1. I wrote rather extensively about the problem of sharing the gospel with people who are demonically controlled in He Came To Set The Captives Free, and in Chapter 10 of this book. I will not give more details here, these same princi ples apply to sharing the gospel with New Agers. They are all demonically bound. 2. You must understand that these people are frequently in a state similar to being drugged. Their minds have become so passive that they have an extremely difficult time evaluating any new concept. Not only will you need much patience to help them assimilate the concepts of the ..I see the new age not just as a vision but as a very real spirit."
