wanting to talk to anyone. About an hour into the flight, the Lord spoke to me and said, "Share the gospel with the lady next to you." Now I am used to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with a wide variety of people and in many circumstances. But the resis tance I felt in this situation was intense. "Lord, how can I? She won't even talk to me!" I didn't receive an ~nswer to my question, so I settled back and tried to go to sleep. About five minutes later, the Lord spoke to me again, giving me the same command. I rummaged through my purse looking for a tract appropriate to use to help gain her attention. I had given out my last tract at the airport where we had transferred planes. As I sat there debating what to do, the Lord spoke to me very strongly one last time. "If you don't share the gospel with this woman, she will go to hell and her blood will be on your hands!" Needless to say, this jolted me. I realized that my reluctance to share the gospel with this woman was demonically induced. The demons in her were afflicting me to try to keep me from speaking to her. Quietly, I bound them in the name of Jesus. Then, I turned to the lady and said, "May I ask you a question?" To my surprise, she turned to me quite pleasantly and said, "Of course." "Tell me, do you know Jesus Christ?" "No, I never heard of him." "Well, how do you worship God?" "I don't. I never thought about it. Exactly who is God, anyway?" I was startled. Here was an old lady, 82 years old, as it turned out, obviously close to the end of her life, who had lived most of her life here in the United States, and she had
